Jamaican Blue Mountiain

The King. Jamaican Blue Mountain is considered by many to be quite simply the best coffee in the world. 90% of a very limited suppy goes to Japan.
Our Jamaican Blue Mountain is not blended with any other types of coffee, it is pure Jamaican from the famous Wallenford Estate. It is flown over by British Airways in 25kg or 40kg wooden barrels (the only coffee in the world to be packed in wooden barrels, and the only coffee in the world to be distributed by aeroplane).
When it is roasted, only a select few are allowed to roast it (mainly due to the potential of very costly mistakes!!).
Like all our coffees it is traditionally drum roasted and then water cooled immediately to seal in the flavours. It is then allowed to stand further for 10 hours before being packed.
Wonderfully smooth. Lightly roasted, with delightfully subtle tastes. Note to get the best out of this coffee, use about 10-15% more in the cafetiere or filter. Also note that this coffee is not so suitable in an espresso machine as the extraction process using pressurised water can be a bit too harsh for this coffee.
