Swiss Water Fairtrade Organic Decaffeinated
Swiss water processed coffee produced decaffeinated coffee without the use of solvents.
As a result, the coffee that results keeps its Organic status that would otherwise have been lost if it were decaffeinated using the traditional solvents to extract the caffeine.
The coffee is wonderful, and although solvent extraction should not make a difference, the swiss water decaf process does seem to produce some quite extraordinary results.
We were so impressed with it, that we decided to give it our 'MIYA' status and offset all the carbon emissions from its transport aswell.
A truly great coffee in our humble opinion.
